Hello! The Not So Empty Nest was opened in June of 2016 in a small 700 square foot shop. We have since grown and moved to a 5000 square foot shop! We feature over 100 Made in Maine Artist and Craftsmen merchandise. We also do home decor and have a Plant Bar where you can choose a pot and choose a plant and plant it right here while you shop! We upcycle and sell the furniture that we display on so the shop is always changing! We also sell the chalk paint that we use on all the furniture. Stop by our Book Nook for a cup of coffee and or tea, then add in some wine and specialty food / sweets and you have a very unique shopping experience for all of your needs! This photo is my daughter Carly and I. I have 3 grown children in Boston, San Diego and Arizona, all wonderful places to visit! My husband Phil and I and our sweet dog Luna live in Bangor. Luna is our shop dog and greets all of our customers with lots of love!
